The project Human Capital Valorization of Horários do Funchal is part of the Madeira 14-20 Operational Program, which is a support program of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Social Fund (ESF) within the scope of the Investment in Growth and Employment goal for the Autonomous Region of Madeira.

Investment in institutional capacity and efficiency of administrations and public services at national, regional, and local levels, with a view to implementing reforms, better regulation, and good governance.
Specific Objective
Empower human resources with key competencies necessary for the management and operation of a modern public transport service, particularly regarding the adoption of new technologies, administrative process management, and the improvement of public service delivery directed at residents and tourists.
Contractual Results
a) Public sector workers supported by training actions focused on reorganization and modernization (O.11.01.01.E) – 92;
b) Public sector workers who consider themselves more capable after attending the training (R.11.01.01.E) – 95%  


Objectives:  


The Training Plan of this project aims to contribute to the development of human potential in response to the needs of the company Horários do Funchal, through the preparation and qualification of professionals involved in service delivery, aiming to improve their demonstrated technical quality. This focus makes professional training essential to provide appropriate, innovative, and high-quality solutions. The objectives of the Training Plan are to organize and make visible information regarding the organization's training needs, aiming to provide knowledge and promote skills within a framework of continuous improvement and direct contribution to the achievement of organizational success.

Specifically, Horários do Funchal proposes to develop a training program designed to empower its human resources with the key competencies necessary for the management and operation of a modern public transport service, namely regarding the adoption of new technologies, administrative process management, and the improvement of public service delivery aimed at residents and tourists.
