At Horários do Funchal, we believe that the well-being of our employees goes beyond the work environment, which is why we proudly promote the creation of organised groups that encourage culture, sport and coexistence, strengthening ties inside and outside the company.
We currently have the Retired Group, the Culture and Sports Centre for Horários do Funchal employees and, more recently, the band Desdobramento, which develop and promote various initiatives for their members.

Retired Group
Established on June 9, 1997, with the indispensable approval of the Board of Directors of Horários do Funchal (HF), the Retired Group (GR) is an organization whose aim is to keep alive the “flame” of healthy friendship between work colleagues who belonged to HF's professional staff, providing members with a healthy quality of life through a project aimed at occupying their leisure time, promoting social gatherings, bus rides, table games, walks and other leisure activities.
It has its own corporate bodies, which manage all of the group's initiatives. Its financial capacity comes from raising monthly membership fees and other voluntary contributions, as well as sponsorship from a friendly company, which allows us to hold a healthy Christmas gathering and raffle off various Christmas hampers.
The creation of a Facebook page represents an ever-present means of communication, in which news about initiatives and other matters of common interest to members are published, without neglecting telephone contacts in order to transmit friendly and comforting words.
In pursuit of our goals of continuity, fully aware that life expectancy is the biggest setback for retirees, we invite colleagues who want to join this project, which belongs to all employees of the company Horários do Funchal, which continues to be deserving of much affection from its Board of Directors.
We are located on the 4th floor, room 408, in the HF building, at Estação da Fundoa, where we hold our meetings on Mondays, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Culture and Sports Centre for Horários do Funchal employees
The mission of the CCDTHF, Culture and Sports Centre for Horários do Funchal employees, is to provide its members, employees and their families with recreational and sports activities, promoting social interaction among its members, as well as developing social responsibility actions.
It began its activities on July 1, 1987, with the fundamental support of Horários do Funchal's Board of Directors for the growth of this centre.
It currently has an athletics team and a billiards team in regional competitions.

Desdobramento Band
In 2018, the band Desdobramento was born, sponsored by the CCDTHF. Most of the band's members are Horários do Funchal employees.
In 2021, the band released two original songs, entitled “Lá vem o Horário” and “Nas tuas mãos”.
We are proud to show our support for Banda Desdobramento, who year after year sing and delight all those who have the pleasure of attending their concerts.
